The first question is...

Here's the first question Mike asked me. My answer to his question will be the first comment which follows it.

What was Mom-Mom's maiden name? I should know this...but it's definitely slipping away. Dunphy? If not, who were the Dunphy's and what were their relationship to us?

  Lester. Although she was commonly thought
  of as Anna Myrtle Lester -- and it was that
  way on driver's licenses and such -- in fact that
  reverses her first and middle names as recorded
  on her birth certificate. So our cousin Davey
  would more correctly have referred to her (in that
  piercing Barney-Fife nasal twang of his) not as
  "Aunt Annie" but "Aunt Myrt." Aunt Elsie (Dunphy)
  was Mom-Mom's sister.
